LANSING, Mich. — Sen. Jon Bumstead, R-North Muskegon, on Thursday welcomed retired U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Justin Sedelmaier to the Capitol as his special guest for the Senate’s annual Memorial Day ceremony to honor Michigan’s fallen military service members.
Sedelmaier served from 2007 to 2015, including combat deployments to Iraq’s Al Anbar Province from 2008 to 2009 and Afghanistan’s Helmand Province in 2010.
