Bumstead welcomes Muskegon Township veteran to state Capitol

LANSING, Mich. — Sen. Jon Bumstead, R-Newaygo, welcomed Muskegon Township veteran Joseph Kemp to the Capitol for the Michigan Senate’s 25th Annual Memorial Day Service on Thursday.

Kemp served in both the U.S. Air Force and the Army National Guard. He lives in Muskegon Township with his wife Vicki, and the two made the trip to Lansing to join members and guests in paying tribute to those who gave their lives defending our country.
