LANSING, Mich. — Sen. Jon Bumstead, R-North Muskegon, Ogema Romanelli of the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians and community leaders will host an event Friday, May 20 to voice their support for the proposed Muskegon Casino.
The event will begin at 11 a.m. at the site of the proposed casino, located at 4800 S. Harvey St. in Muskegon.
Bumstead, Romanelli, local elected officials and business leaders will highlight the positive impact the casino will have on Muskegon County, surrounding communities and the West Michigan region, while renewing their call to Gov. Gretchen Whitmer to approve the project before the June 16 deadline.
